This is with reference to the article 'Congress in Disarray' dated 22nd August 2019 published in the State Times.
The Congress party which was already braving the 2019 poll debacle , has recently found another reason to spend sleepless nights . As the former Union Home and Finance Minister P.Chidambaram finds himself in the midst of one of India's biggest financial scams.
With the turn of events, the country finds itself inching towards a
'Congress Mukt Bharat' .
However, India have been referred globally as the
'World's largest Democracy'.
And, Democracy is the governance of
'checks and balances' .
For the healthy growth of it's institutions it is highly necessary to have an active and moral opposition .
Therefore it's high time for Congress to pull up its socks and find it's way out of its prevalent disarray .
